Archivists’ Toolkit is now fully-functional at CU and 24 of the 33 finding aids required for the grant have been entered. Having used other collection management software programs over the years, I’m impressed by AT and the thought that has gone into developing it. Since we’ve not had to import legacy finding aids here at CU, though, I’m curious at the experience others have had in doing so. What has worked and what hasn’t?

Earlier this week, three of the CU Library staff and I visited with Jeremy Skinner at Lewis and Clark College to discuss curriculum integration for archival collections. Thanks, Jeremy, for your time and suggestions. During this last week of on-site work, the final major task will be to create a document outlining a plan for advocacy and outreach at CU, including curriculum integration suggestions, a university-wide mandate to collect and preserve institutional records, and connecting with potential researchers and supporters both on- and off-campus.
